TILE INSTALLER
What To Expect
A tile installer is someone who specializes in installing hard surfaces. The most durable and enticing surfaces that can be installed. With so many new and alluring tiles to choose from, find yourself a tile installer with the experience and ability to install them right.
Organized
A tile installer will build your project twice before installing any tile. Like sculpting, every detail needs to be carefully considered; even at the framing stage. A bulkhead framed too high or too low could mean an unsightly intersection of grout lines or sliver of tile that should have been a little bigger. A niche not carefully placed can end up in an awkward spot for installing tile around it. Laying out the tile takes a penchant for organization and foresight.
Fast
A tile installer has to install fast, which when laying tile, sometimes means taking more time at earlier stages. Mortar wipes away quick when it is still wet. When it dries, the amount of time it takes to wipe it off doubles or triples. A tile installer takes more time framing the shower to a size that allows the least amount of cutting of tile later on. This not only saves time cutting, but also minimizes material waste.
Meticulous
A professional tile installer does not like water. He will slope the curb top, niche sills, benches and any surface that water hits so that it will go away before any hard water deposits can form on that beautiful tile. That means ceilings as well in a steam shower so that no cold condensed water drops on you while you are reinvigorating.
Foresight
Are your walls not plumb or floor not level? A tile installer will correct that so that your glass enclosure will be installed without any problems or costing you double to go to a custom enclosure.
Accountable
Tile installers do not like coming back. At least, to redo a job. We just prefer installing a project that is going to last and will not end up damaging any other parts of your home. We would however be willing and spry to come back and deal with an install that did not go according to plan. We would, however, be very happy to come back and install tile for you again for a new project.
When you feel it is time for tile in your home, be sure to trust it to an experienced professional tile installer, trust it to JMJ Tileworks and sleep well knowing your tile project is going to turn out beautifully.
